Set your personal app language and regional display format separately in My Account > Details > User profile. You can use Optune in English while displaying dates and numbers in a different regional format.
This article is for artists and artist team members. These are settings for your own user account. An artist profile, a contract layout and a public page are separate contexts.
Change your app language or regional format
Click your user name or avatar at the bottom of the navigation sidebar.
Choose My Account.
Open Details and find User profile.
Click the current Language or Date and number format value to open the editor.
Choose the app language under Language. The current selection offers English and Deutsch.
Choose your preferred regional display under Date and number format. Use the date, time and number examples beside each option to check your choice.
Click Update to save. Use Discard if you want to leave without applying the changes.
Reopen My Account and confirm both saved values. Open a booking to check that its dates are displayed as intended.
Update stays disabled when there are no changes to save. Review the language and regional format as two separate choices; choosing a regional format does not require you to change the app language.
Which regional formats are available?
The regional selector provides the following examples. The number column illustrates separators for the same value, one thousand two hundred and thirty-four and fifty-six hundredths.

Pay particular attention to the US date order: month comes before day. For an ambiguous date such as 04/05, check the selected format or use the date picker instead of guessing.
These examples describe display formatting. They do not change the event represented by a saved booking date.
Can I keep English and use European date formatting?
Yes. For example, keep Language: English and choose DE — Germany to display a date as 21.11.2026. Choose GB — United Kingdom to display the same date as 21/11/2026 while keeping the interface in English.
After changing the regional setting, reopen a booking and check its displayed Show and Operational period dates. Do not change the booking's actual dates merely to adjust their visual order or separators.
Is the regional format the same as the currency?
No. Date and number format and Base Currency are separate controls in User profile. The regional options show example currency labels, but choosing GB — United Kingdom does not automatically change an existing Base Currency: EUR selection.
Check the currency on the actual booking Deal or document when working with an amount. A display such as 1.234,56 or 1,234.56 explains the separators; it does not by itself tell you the agreed payment currency. Do not change the amount because its decimal or thousands separator looks different after a format change.
Why does my contract or invoice use a different format?
Documents have their own language and regional-format settings in their layout. Your personal app display and a document's output should be reviewed separately.
For example, an English Artist contract can use a Swiss regional format while your personal account uses a German or UK format. In the document's layout controls, check Language and Date and number format, then generate the preview and inspect its labels, dates and numbers.
Changing display language does not translate the text you wrote yourself, such as a venue instruction or a paragraph in Main content. Review those written contents separately when preparing a document in another language.
The app-language selector and the document-language selector also offer different choices. Do not assume that every document language is available for the whole app, or that a language in an older release announcement is selectable in the current editor.
What about public pages and request forms?
Your personal app setting is not a universal language setting for everything a customer opens. A public artist page, a booking-request form, a message and a document are different outputs. Check the relevant page or output itself when preparing it for a recipient.
For a document, inspect the generated preview. For a public page or form, open the recipient-facing page and check its actual language. Changing your own app language is not sufficient proof that every recipient will see the same language.
Troubleshooting
The app is in English, but the dates use dots or a different order. Check Date and number format. App language and regional display are separate.
A number appears to have changed. Check its decimal and thousands separators before changing the underlying amount. Compare the numeric value and currency in the relevant booking or document.
My own notes are still in their original language. App language controls interface labels; it does not rewrite notes or custom document text. Edit those contents separately when a translation is needed.
The document still uses another date format. Open its layout settings and regenerate its preview. Confirm the document's own regional setting rather than relying on My Account.
The saved preference did not change. Reopen My Account and check the value. If it is still the previous value, open the editor again, select the desired option and click Update. If the issue persists, contact support with the chosen setting and an example of the unexpected display.
