Artists and artist team members can choose which notifications they receive in My Account > Settings. Optune has two levels: global switches for E-mail and In-app, and separate event preferences for each group. A channel must be enabled at both levels for the selected group event to use that channel.
These are your personal notification preferences. They do not change another team member's settings, give you access to additional bookings, or change your role.
Open your notification settings
Open your account menu and select My Account.
Open the Settings tab.
Find Global notification settings to review your overall In-app and E-mail preferences.
Under Settings per group, expand the group whose notifications you want to change.
Select the event's channel settings to open the editor. Use the In-app and E-mail columns to choose each channel independently.
Select Update to save. Use Discard to leave the editor without saving your changes.
Check the group name before editing. A setting for one artist group is not automatically the setting for another group you belong to. Editing a group's notification preferences is different from switching your active artist profile.
How do the global and group switches work together?
A global switch is the overall control for that channel across all your groups. The event switches then control which notifications you want from each group.
Global channel | Channel for the group event | Result for that event |
On | On | The notification channel is enabled. |
On | Off | This event's notification channel is disabled. |
Off | On or Off | The global setting disables the channel. |
For example, enabling E-mail for Booking changed in one group does not override a disabled global E-mail setting. Both must be on if you want email notifications for that event.
An enabled preference makes the channel available for relevant events; it does not grant access to information outside your permissions or prove that a particular email reached your inbox.
Turn off booking-change emails but keep other emails
Keep E-mail enabled under Global notification settings.
Expand the relevant group under Settings per group.
Under Internal booking notifications, find Booking changed.
Open the channel editor and switch off E-mail for Booking changed.
Keep In-app on for that event if you still want in-app notifications. The global In-app channel must also be on.
Select Update.
This targets booking-change emails for that group. Other event preferences, such as new booking requests or assigned tasks, have their own switches. To restore booking-change emails, enable the same event's E-mail switch and save again.
Turn off the email notification channel across all groups
Under Global notification settings, edit E-mail, switch it off, and save with Update. This overrides your group-level email preferences.
Leave global In-app enabled and keep the relevant in-app event switches on if you want to continue receiving those in-app notifications. Turning off email does not automatically enable in-app notifications.
These controls manage notification channels. Do not treat them as an account closure, cancellation of a subscription, or a guarantee that no account-related email can ever be sent.
Which event should I change?
Choose the event that describes what actually happened. Similar names refer to different workflows.
Event category | What to look for |
Public requests | New booking request added and New contact / newsletter request added. |
Internal booking notifications | New booking added, Booking changed, Booking canceled, and Blocked dates changed. |
Team poll | New polls, member responses, completed polls, and removed polls. |
Request and sharing | Booking details requests, changes and completion, overdue request closure, and contacts invited to or removed from booking sharing. |
Artist team changes | Artist member invitations, responses, changes and removal, plus collaborator group connections and disconnections. |
Other notifications | Todo assigned and Todo changed for tasks. |
For a new public booking request, check New booking request added. Do not assume that enabling New booking added covers the same event. Likewise, New contact / newsletter request added describes a public request event, not every contact you add to a booking.
The settings use the label Todo for task notifications, while the main navigation uses Tasks.
Why is a notification still missing?
Check the correct group, the exact event, both channel levels, and whether your changes were saved. Confirm that the booking or other information is available to your account; notification preferences do not extend access rights.
For email problems, also check your account email address, spam and quarantine folders, and mail rules. If notifications suddenly stop despite correct settings, contact Optune Support with the affected event, approximate time, group and recipient address. Support can investigate delivery restrictions. Do not change other people's access permissions to troubleshoot your own notifications.
