Dynamic fields insert information from the booking and its related records into a contract. Use the fields offered by the current editor rather than copying hashtag codes from an older guide. This article covers contract data; it does not establish that every invoice or output offers the same fields.
Insert a field and check its value
Open the contract or working template you are permitted to edit.
Use # in the contract editor to open the available-field list.
Select the field that matches the information you need, checking its source category.
Review the result in a contract with the relevant booking context.
Compare the complete preview or downloaded PDF with the saved source information.
Choosing a similarly named field can produce a different result. For the document receiver’s name, use the field for Document receiver > Name, rather than assuming that every contact-name field refers to the recipient.
Where does the information come from?
Event name and show information: the corresponding booking fields. Show dates and the wider operational period describe different things.
Customer company and KSK number: the selected customer contact’s relevant information.
Hotel details: individual hotel fields can refer to the first accommodation entry. Check which hotel the final document actually describes.
Guest capacity: the total guest allocation is different from a list of named guests.
Deal type and amounts: the saved deal information and the particular field selected. A text label does not calculate a settlement or replace checking the amounts.
Contact roles also matter. Technical contact, artist care and document receiver are different sources. Check the current booking and field list instead of assigning meaning to the order of “Other contacts”.
Fixed wording or dynamic data?
Keep wording that should remain unchanged as ordinary text. For event-specific agreements, record the information in the appropriate booking section and select the matching field where available.
A dynamic current-date field is different from a fixed date written into the agreement. If you intend a specific unchanging date, use ordinary text and check it when reusing the template. A show-date field should instead refer to the booking’s show date.
What does “No data” mean?
A reusable template may have no booking context. Test it in a suitable booking before concluding that the field is broken. If the source value is missing, collect and save the intended information. If the source is correct, check that the document uses the right field.
A technical label such as “hashtags.null.label” is a different issue. Reload the page; if the label remains, send support the template editor link, affected booking or document link and a screenshot showing the expected and actual result.
Check the document output
Regional settings can change how dynamic dates and times appear. Check document language and date/number format separately, then inspect the generated output. Review real tables, line breaks and page breaks as well as field values.
Before sending a contract or requesting signatures, resolve missing agreement details and review the complete document. Keep private document links and personal information in the support conversation when requesting help.
