Check the currency wherever you enter or use an amount: in your profile, a booking, a booking-request form and the final document. Saving your profile’s Base currency does not replace checking the agreed amount and currency for each show.
This guide is for artists and artist team members. You need access to the relevant profile or booking controls. If an amount or editing control is hidden, ask the person responsible for the booking to check it.
Which currency should I check?
What you are checking | Where to look |
Your profile’s Base currency | My Account > Details > User profile. |
The bank-account currency displayed in your profile | The bank-account details in the profile; check them again after a Base currency change. |
The agreed currency for a show | The currency beside the booking’s fee and its saved Deal details. |
The currency shown on a booking-request form | The form wizard’s Default currency and the actual generated form. |
How dates and numbers are displayed | The relevant Date and Number Format setting; check the resulting document separately. |
Change and verify your Base currency
Open your profile menu and choose My Account.
Open Details and the User profile settings.
Choose the intended Base currency and save the profile change.
Reload or reopen the profile and check that the intended Base currency is displayed.
Check the displayed bank-account currency too. If it has changed unexpectedly, review the saved values before using them in a document and contact support if they do not match what you need.
A change to Base currency can also be accompanied by a change in the displayed bank-account currency, even when you did not edit that field. Check both values after saving; do not assume that they are stored independently.
Check the amount and currency for each booking
When creating or editing your own booking, explicitly check the fee and the currency beside it. Save the booking, reopen it and verify both in the saved details. For example, an agreement for EUR 500 needs both the amount 500 and the currency EUR.
Do not assume that a profile change converts existing booking amounts or determines every new booking’s currency. If you change a booking’s currency, compare the resulting figures with the agreement instead of assuming an exchange-rate conversion has taken place.
Check your booking-request form
In the artist booking-request wizard, check Default currency. If you want visitors to enter a proposed fee, also enable the fee-proposal field. Open the generated form and check the fee field and currency as a visitor would see them.
Check the exact form or embed used on your website as well. A form created with different settings may show a different result. You can inspect the displayed currency without submitting a request. When a real request arrives, review its proposed amount and currency before treating them as the agreed deal.
Check documents and subscription billing separately
Before sharing a contract or invoice, check the amount and currency in the actual output. Document language and regional number formatting are separate from the currency of the agreement. Look for missing values or repeated currency labels as well as the amount itself.
For the currency of your Optune subscription charge, check the group’s billing information and the relevant billing record. Do not use the profile’s Base currency as confirmation of a subscription charge.
The saved currency is not what I expected
Send support the affected area—profile, bank details, booking, request form, document or subscription—the expected amount/currency and what appears after saving and reopening. Include the relevant booking or form link and a screenshot with unrelated financial or bank details hidden. For a profile change, mention whether the displayed bank-account currency changed too.
