How do I prepare a newsletter signup form for my artist website?

Prepare and preview your artist signup link or embed, choose fields, and check the submission process before collecting signups.

Use the newsletter form wizard in your artist group to prepare a signup link or an embed for your website. Preview the form before you add it to a page. Preparing a signup form is separate from composing or sending a newsletter campaign.

Prepare and preview the form

  1. Open the intended artist group, then Profile > Integrations > Newsletter subscription form. In German, use Profil > Integrationen > Formular für Newsletter.

  2. Review the theme, header and contact-field options. In the tested default form, visitors saw Full name and Email. Enabling the phone option added a Phone field to the rendered form.

  3. Copy the complete custom newsletter form URL shown by the wizard and open it to preview the form. Check the selected fields, wording and appearance.

  4. For a website link, use that form URL. For an embedded form, use the wizard’s generated embed code in a part of your website that accepts HTML embeds. Preview the actual page on desktop and mobile.

  5. Adjust the embed height so the full form is visible. Before collecting real signups, confirm where submissions are stored, who can access them and what confirmation process applies.

Which settings are available?

The wizard displays theme and header controls, email and phone options, a phone required-field checkbox, text and required-field colours, font family, a custom CSS link and embed height. Change only the options you need and check the generated form again. Your website editor may have separate limits on embedded content.

Custom CSS is optional. The wizard warns that styles can change, so keep a copy of your working embed and check it again after changing your website styling.

Does this send a newsletter campaign?

The form is a signup entry point. Its wizard does not provide a campaign composer or a send-campaign step. Do not treat creating the form as sending a newsletter, or assume that collecting an address automatically subscribes it to a separate mailing service.

What should I confirm before using it publicly?

Check the signup storage location, the responsible artist group, access for your team and any confirmation or notification email. Do not assume a double-opt-in process or a particular consent record simply because the form has a Subscribe button. If these details are unclear, ask Optune support to confirm the setup before collecting real signups.

Use an address you control for any authorised end-to-end test, then verify the resulting contact or signup and any message actually received. A preview alone does not prove submission storage or email delivery.

If the form is missing fields or does not fit

Return to the wizard and compare its settings with the exact URL or embed currently used on your website. Recheck the generated form after changing the options. If the hosted form looks correct but the website version is cropped, check the embed height and the website container.

Send support the artist group, the affected website page, the selected options, browser/device and a screenshot of the problem. Avoid including private calendar links, API keys or subscriber contact details.
